Lavt releases new EP 'solitude', premieres 'voicemail' video

Singer-songwriter Lavt released a new digital EP, 'solitude', on June 10. The lead track's music video premiered the same day.

The lead song, 'voicemail', is described as a 'four-and-a-half tatami mat nerd rock' track. It pairs a looping guitar riff with an electronic beat.

The other tracks are 'Parasomnia', about the space between heartbreak and insomnia; 'Siren', depicting the lingering echo of emotions after a breakup; and 'Crash Back', which sets flashbacking memories to a danceable sound.

The 'voicemail' music video premiered on June 10 at 8:00 PM JST on Lavt's YouTube channel.

Lavt's third solo live tour, 'RE:BORN', begins in July. The Tokyo date at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM is sold out. Shows in Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Osaka are currently on sale.

The EP 'solitude' is available on global streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music.
