Uru releases new single 'Sorenanoni' for drama 'Ani Imouto'

Uru has released the music video for her new single, "Sorenanoni." The song serves as the theme for the TV Asahi drama "Ani Imouto," starring Nana Eikura and Eiji Akaso.

The mid-tempo rock ballad was written and composed by Uru, with arrangement by Yoshiaki Dewa. The track features band instrumentation and strings. The music video, directed by Takuro Okubo, stars rising talent Hina Kikuchi. Kikuchi, known as the "Table Tennis Angel" on social media, is shown riding a bicycle to meet someone, visually representing lyrics about longing and proximity.

"Ani Imouto" is a love-suspense drama written by Noriko Yoshida and directed by Takehiko Shinjo, the team behind the 2024 hit "Destiny." It follows two pairs of siblings entangled in a complex story of forbidden love. The song premiered during the drama's first episode on October 17 and was first performed live at the final show of Uru's "tone" tour in Tokyo.

The single "Sorenanoni" was released digitally on October 21. A CD release is scheduled for December 9. The song is available on major streaming platforms.

Uru recently completed her sold-out "tone" national tour. Her first fan club tour, "SABA-CANderland," is scheduled for March 2027. A WOWOW special commemorating her 10th major debut anniversary will air in November.
