DATE WARS Music Project Launches Second Season with New Anthem

The music project DATE WARS has launched its second season. The opening anthem, "Flashback Memory ~Jidai o Kakeru Mononoke-tachi~," was released on April 30.

The song features all 14 vocalists from the project's cast, including Anna Nagase, Mihana Hanai, and Funa Yomemiya. It is available on major streaming platforms.

Produced by Brian Shinsakai, the track is described by music producer Minori as an "all-in-one" piece. It blends genres from enka to technopop and rap.

The 70s team features Seiji from Guitar Wolf. The 80s team includes Kunimondo Takiguchi (RYUSENKEI) and Natsu Summer. Kaji Hideki leads the 90s team, and Yuki Honda (Arte Refact) heads the 00s team.

The project is led by Yuichiro Momose, writer for Hypnosis Mic, with character designs by Hanaharu Naruko.
