Virtual Artist Kano Mahoro Joins VTuber Agency Million Production

Virtual artist Kano Mahoro has joined the VTuber agency Million Production. The artist, known for years as Kano, will also be an inaugural member of a new internal music group called Million Production SONA.

Kano began her career posting cover songs online and later released original music and anime theme songs.

The name SONA combines "Sound" and "Persona." Initial members include Kano Mahoro, Otonono Nono, and Akubi Demonspeed.

Million Production, which operates a music label and held a 3D offline concert in May 2026, announced the group's formation alongside Kano's addition.

Kano Mahoro will hold her first live stream as a member of Million Production on August 22, 2026, at 20:00 JST on her YouTube channel. The stream is titled "Hajimemashite no Kata wa Hajimemashite!"

Her existing social channels, including her YouTube channel and X (formerly Twitter) account, will continue under the new name.
