Ameana's 'Strange Series' Hits 10 Million Copies, New 'History Novel' Announced

Ameana, the mystery author behind the globally successful 'Strange Series,' will release a new book titled Ameana no Ie (Ameana's House) on November 13, 2026.

The new work is described as a 'History Novel,' blending biographical elements about Ameana with a new 140-page mystery story. It includes over 300 images and illustrations, covering past works, investigation materials, and layouts of the author's home.

The 'Strange Series,' including titles like Strange House and Strange Pictures, is available in 40 countries. The English translation of Strange Pictures was a finalist for the CWA's Dagger Award.

A related exhibition, 'Ameana's Strange World Exhibition,' will open in Tokyo on October 23.
