nuts Releases New Single 'Heccha LUCKY!!' with Ski Resort Music Video

The media group nuts released a new single and music video on July 20, timed for Japan's Marine Day holiday.

The music video presents a visual contrast, filmed at a ski resort in mid-winter despite the summer release. The four main vocalists—Anje, Minori, Neon, and Leon—are featured wearing bikinis in the snowy landscape.

Themes include managing household chores, childcare, and work, leading a family of five siblings, and a background as a former bōsōzoku gang member and alpine ski prefectural representative.

The track was composed and arranged by Chibanyan. The production involved the four main vocalists and five dancers.

Nuts originated as a fashion magazine targeting the "ane-gyaru" (big sister gal) culture. After ceasing print publication in 2016, it relaunched as a web magazine in April 2020 and resumed print editions in October 2020.
