Ryu of REAL AKIBA BOYZ Completes First Solo Tour, Announces 2027 Live

Ryu, the 19-year-old university student and youngest member of REAL AKIBA BOYZ, wrapped his first solo tour, a two-city run. The final show at Zepp Shinjuku in Tokyo on March 30 was streamed live for free, drawing approximately 15,000 concurrent viewers across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok LIVE, and X.

The tour, titled 'Raisei', played to sold-out crowds at Osaka's Umeda Club Quattro on March 26 and Tokyo's Zepp Shinjuku. Ryu's performance blended dance styles he has trained in since age three, including ballet, jazz, and street dance.

His management label, METEORA st., also announced a third solo live show is scheduled for Spring 2027.

Ryu joined REAL AKIBA BOYZ in 2022 while in his first year of high school. The group is known for its dance covers of anime and Vocaloid songs, with total video views exceeding 500 million. They collaborated with YOASOBI on the 2023 hit "Idol," providing the "otaku call" vocals and performing the song with the duo at the 74th Kohaku Uta Gassen.

As a solo dancer, Ryu has won competitions including the 2023 Redbull Dance Your Style Japan Final. With his partner Yūta, he placed in the world's top four at the Freestyle Session World Finals 2025 in the 2-on-2 category.

Ryu also stars in a new SoftBank commercial campaign with the theme "If you start moving, the scenery will change."
