'Koko Ore' Anime Adaptation Sets July 2026 Premiere

The TV anime adaptation of the fantasy light novel series Leave This to Me and Go On Ahead (Koko Ore) will premiere on July 6, 2026.

The series is based on the novel by Ezo Gingitsune, which has over 4.45 million copies in print. The story follows Rack, an S-rank mage who stays behind to hold off a demon lord so his party can escape. When he returns a decade later, he finds he has become a legendary hero. He hides his identity and lives as a low-rank adventurer named Rock.

The main voice cast includes Kazuhiro Kamiji as Rack/Rock Franzen, Yui Ishikawa as Serlis Morton, Mayu Sagara as Shea Urquhart, M・A・O as Lucilla, and Yurie Kosakai as Mirka.

Five veteran voice actors were also confirmed for key vampire roles: Nobuhiko Okamoto, Shinya Takahashi, Kousuke Toriumi, Satoshi Hino, and Takehito Koyasu. Their specific characters have not been revealed.

Kobe Yoko directs the series at studio Gekko, with series composition by Hirota Mitsuki. The ending theme is an unreleased song titled To the Mundane Days and the Fortunate Days.
