Anime 'Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san' Sets July 2026 Premiere with KOTOKO Ending Theme

The TV anime adaptation of the manga 'Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san' will premiere in July 2026. The ending theme, 'SAY-BYE.', will be performed by KOTOKO with music composed and arranged by Aiobahn +81.

The series is based on the manga by Eroki and Konoshiro Shinko, serialized in Shogakukan's Manga One. The story follows a high school girl named Shizuka who can see ghosts. She works as an assistant to a powerful but unconventional spiritualist named Kamui.

KOTOKO provided a comment on her involvement. 'I am very happy to be in charge of the lyrics and singing for the ending theme,' she stated. 'After reading the original work, I found the eccentric worldview where occult and eros mix to be very interesting. I took on the project with the feeling that I had to be the one to do this.'

The anime is produced under the 'Deregula' label, an animation brand operated by WWWave Corporation. The company also runs global anime distribution services like OceanVeil.

Details on the single's release and distribution for 'SAY-BYE.' will be announced at a later date. The original manga is published by Shogakukan.
