Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Episode 9 Airs March 21

Episode 9 of the anime Cardfight. Vanguard Divinez: Genshin Seisen-hen airs on Japanese television March 21. The episode, titled "Truth Illuminated by Moonlight," will also be available for streaming on multiple platforms, including Amazon Prime Video.

The official site released several preview scene cuts from the upcoming episode. In the story, only one Phantom Fighter remains. The character Kurumi, having made a decision, invites Akina, Hikari, Kanami, and Kagetsu to a suitable battlefield. The signal for the Genshin Seisen sounds, marking the time for Kurumi to face her opponents.

The anime airs Saturdays at 8:00 AM on TV Aichi and the TV Tokyo network. It is also streamed on services including Amazon Prime Video, ABEMA, U-NEXT, and the Bandai Channel.

The Cardfight. Vanguard franchise, which began its anime series in 2011, is a multimedia property centered on a trading card game. The current Divinez series, which started in 2024, features Akira Miyata as the voice of protagonist Akina Meido. Character design concepts are provided by CLAMP.
