Comedian Kazuma Kawashima ___SHORTCODE_1___ Reviews Netflix Anime Film 'Chou Kaguyahime!'

A new interview video features comedian Kazuma Kawashima discussing the Netflix Original anime film 'Chou Kaguyahime!'. Kawashima, a host of the variety show 'Lovitt', is not a regular anime viewer but called the film a "culmination of what animation can do today."

The film is directed by Seigo Yamashita, known for the opening sequences of 'Jujutsu Kaisen' and 'Chainsaw Man'. It is a music-focused project with songs provided by Vocaloid producers ryo (supercell), kz (livetune), 40mP, and HoneyWorks.

Kawashima watched the film on Netflix and again in theaters. He recommended the theatrical experience. He highlighted the virtual concert sequences and the evolving relationship between the two main characters.

'Chou Kaguyahime!' has been streaming globally on Netflix since late 2025. It expanded to Japanese theaters in February 2026 and has remained in the weekend box office top 10 for eight consecutive weeks.
