Dead by Daylight's 2v8 Mode Returns with Attack on Titan Collaboration

Behaviour Interactive is bringing back the 2v8 game mode to Dead by Daylight for a limited time and expanding the game's Attack on Titan cosmetic collection. The event runs from April 29 to May 20, 2026.

The Killer character The Deathslinger has been buffed with reduced reload penalties, while The Oni has been slightly nerfed. A new cage mechanic helps Survivors coordinate rescues by pausing the bleed-out timer during cage relocation.

Two new maps, Temple of Purgation and Ironworks of Misery, have been added and adapted for the 2v8 mode.

The update introduces several new Attack on Titan Legendary outfits. The Trapper is transformed into a Colossal Titan. Survivors get outfits based on characters like Levi, Mikasa, and Sasha. New coordinated looks for other Survivors include a "Queen's Ball Gown" set. The themed lobby background returns.

Players can earn special Attack on Titan badges, banners, and charms by completing in-game quests during the event.
