Hatsune Miku V6 Vocal Synthesis Software Announced for April 2026

Crypton Future Media will release the latest version of its flagship vocal synthesis software, Hatsune Miku V6, on April 14, 2026. Pre-orders are now open on the international digital store SONICWIRE.

The software is available in two forms. The Starter Pack includes the VOCALOID6 Editor and a full music production suite for immediate use. The Voice Bank is for users who already own the editor. Both versions feature Miku's original voice bank with support for Japanese, English, and Chinese.

The full product visual will be revealed on March 9. A silhouette was released with the pre-order announcement.

Hatsune Miku V6 uses the VOCALOID:AI synthesis engine. It automatically adds natural breaths and can handle multiple languages within a single phrase. The software learns from pitch, volume, timing, and accent data to produce a vocal with human-like warmth and natural variation.

Users can fine-tune details with an Expression parameter for vocal strength and edit pitch and volume curves directly. A TAKE function generates multiple vocal takes from a single phrase for creating layered harmonies.

The Starter Pack also includes the DAW software Cubase LE.

The standard price for the Starter Pack is ¥24,200. The Voice Bank is ¥10,780. Owners of previous Miku software versions on SONICWIRE qualify for discounted upgrade pricing.
