Supernatural Anime 'BLACK TORCH' Premieres July 4

The TV anime adaptation of BLACK TORCH begins its broadcast on July 4. The series follows high schooler Futaro Wagatsuma, a descendant of ninjas who can communicate with animals. His life changes when he rescues a wounded black cat named Rago, who is actually a legendary supernatural being awakened from a long slumber.

The voice cast is led by Suzuki Ryota as Futaro Wagatsuma and Ueda Yoji as Rago. Supporting roles include Senbongi Sayaka, Enoki Junya, Suwabe Junichi, Ueda Reina, Morikawa Toshiyuki, and Okamoto Nobuhiko.

Prime Video, Disney+ Star, and Hulu are among the platforms listed for subscription-based viewing starting July資9. YouTube will offer rental options. The series has dedicated English-language social media accounts on X (Twitter) and Instagram.
