TV Anime 'Ichijouma Mankitsu Kurashi!' Reveals Trailer, Visuals for April 2026 Premiere

The TV anime adaptation of the slice-of-life manga 'Ichijouma Mankitsu Kurashi!' has released its main promotional video, key visual, and broadcast schedule ahead of its April 2026 premiere.

The main visual features protagonist Morita Meiko with her roommates at the manga cafe 'Hedgehog': dorm leader Amamiya Rie, popular streamer Suzuki Marika, and hardcore gamer Nakano Neo.

A new character, Meiko's younger sister Morita Miori, was also revealed. Miori is a middle school student and a huge fan of the female pro wrestler Tank Kashiki.

The anime will premiere in Japan on April 11, 2026, in the ABC TV/Asahi Broadcasting 'ANiMAZiNG.' block. It will also air on BS Nittele and AT-X.

The opening theme, 'Ciao Ciao', will be performed by Sophia la Mode. The ending theme, 'Yawayawa NERD Chou Frequency', will be performed by Yume Gendai Myuutype.

Based on the manga by Hisamakumako serialized in Houbunsha's 'Manga Time Kirara', the story follows high schooler Morita Meiko. After moving to Tokyo to attend the prestigious Amamiya Girls' Academy, she finds her assigned dormitory is actually a manga cafe where she must work part-time.

The anime is directed by Watanabe Yasuhiro at studio P.R.A. Music is composed by MONACA.
