The song is the fifth in a series of monthly releases from 7ORDER that began in June. The telephones' Akira Ishimoe produced the track.

7ORDER member Shoki Morohoshi first met PAPUN BAND's Shiny through Ishimoe after a joint concert. Morohoshi had previously collaborated with both groups as a saxophonist and wanted to involve 7ORDER in a future project.

Shiny recounted meeting Morohoshi in Tokyo, where Morohoshi showed him the city's local spots. Morohoshi showed Shiny local spots in Tokyo, which directly inspired lyrics for 7ORDER's song 'TOKYO TRIP.'

This follows 7ORDER's recent track featuring SWAY from DOBERMAN INFINITY, also released during their seventh-anniversary year.

The group will hold a countdown live event at Ebisu The Garden Hall in Tokyo on December 31, 2026. Ticket details are available through the official ticketing site.
