Amazon Music Launches New Music Variety Show 'Otobuzz' on Prime Video

Amazon Music will exclusively stream a new music variety show, 'Otobuzz', on Prime Video starting October 22,提议 2026. The show is hosted by the comedy duo Chocolate Planet and singer-actor Kitayama Hiromitsu.

The first episode includes the 12-member global boy group KO1KEYZ, the duo Kobukuro, who are celebrating their 25th major debut anniversary, and the idol group ≠ME, produced by Sashihara Rino.

One central element of the show is a project where Chocolate Planet creates an original song. They will develop the track throughout the season, taking hints and advice from the guest artists in each episode. The completed song will be revealed in the final episode.

Chocolate Planet's Nagata Shohei commented on the blend of music and comedy, noting unexpected commonalities between songwriting and creating comedy material. His partner, Matsuo Shun, expressed enthusiasm for the hosting role and a desire to film a segment exploring reggae roots in Jamaica.

Kitayama Hiromitsu stated he aims to use his experience as a musician to delve deeper into the artists' stories and the thoughts behind their music.

In addition to the main show on Prime Video, a video podcast companion series titled 'Otobuzz MAGAZINE' will launch on the same day via the Amazon Music mobile app. New podcast episodes will be released alongside the main show.

The program is available to anyone with an Amazon account, not just Prime members. The companion video podcast is accessible to all Amazon Music subscription plan users on iOS and Android.
