Prime Video Drama 'Jirai Guriko' Reveals Trailer and Key Visuals

The Prime Original drama 'Jirai Guriko,' based on the award-winning mystery novel by Yūgo Aosaki, will premiere globally on Prime Video on November 13, 2026.

The story follows high school students Iimoriya Mato and Kōda, played by Nana Mori and Aju Makita. They enter a series of high-stakes intellectual games where the wagers are not lives, but crucial elements of their youth, from school festival spots to large sums of money.

The trailer details the five modified games at the series' core: 'Jirai Guriko' (a version of the children's game 'Guriko' with penalty squares), 'Bōzu Suijaku' (a mix of card games), 'Freeform Janken' (rock-paper-scissors with extra hands), 'Daruma-san ga Kazoeta' (based on 'Red Light, Green Light'), and 'Four-Room Poker'.

The cast includes Kentarō Maeda, Ōshirō Maeda, and Hiroto Takahashi as fellow players. Mizuki Yamashita and Mayu Hotta appear as formidable rivals. The director is Kazuaki Seki, known for his work on music videos for Perfume and Sakanaction.

'Jirai Guriko' is produced by THE SEVEN and Kadokawa Daiei Studio for Amazon MGM Studios.
