Shinju releases 'Love Bomb' featuring nakotanmaru

Vocaloid producer and dark pop artist shinju has released a new single, "Love Bomb (feat. nakotanmaru)". The accompanying music video is now available.

The artist's debut track "Grooming" was removed from platforms. A subsequent release, "Sweet Super Darling", has surpassed 100,000 views across related videos.

The new track features singer-songwriter nakotanmaru, known for work with producer PIKASONIC in the unit Nanatsukaze and for guest vocals with other artists. The song is built around an octave unison between shinju's low, androgynous voice and nakotanmaru's contrasting tone.

Mixing and mastering was handled by Kosei Nishiyama, who also produces Vocaloid music as Nemurineko da Nyan. A solo version of the track sung entirely by shinju is scheduled for release on September 26.

The music video, with illustrations by A.YAMI and editing by UBI, features Y2K-style characters in a pop-art setting. shinju has also released footage from a first online live performance.
