HAN RORO Covers 'Cruel Angel's Thesis' for J-POP REMAKE Project

Singer-songwriter HAN RORO has released a Korean-language cover of 'Cruel Angel's Thesis', the theme from 'Neon Genesis Evangelion'.

The song is the second release in the J-POP REMAKE project. The first installment, TAEYEON's cover of 'Bansanka', topped several Korean music charts upon its release.

HAN RORO's version maintains the original's rock sound while incorporating her vocal style. She previously performed the cover at WONDERLIVET 2024, prompting fan requests for an official recording.

The project is spearheaded by Kangnam. He stated the cover successfully blends respect for the original with HAN RORO's unique appeal.
