MAN WITH A MISSION's 'Firestarter' to Open Anime 'The Vermilion Mask'

MAN WITH A MISSION's new single "Firestarter" will be the opening theme for the TV anime The Vermilion Mask (朱色の仮面). The anime premieres October 10, and the single releases October 28.

The anime is an adaptation of the mask battle fantasy manga by Naba Naba and Dr.Poro. It follows a young man named Pell who, manipulated by a powerful mask, kills his comrades and master. He sets out on a journey to destroy the remaining masks scattered across the world.

The track features in the anime's second main promotional video.

The Vermilion Mask will air Saturdays at 5:30 PM on YTV and Nippon TV in Japan. International streaming will be available on Prime Video. The ending theme is by yutori.

The single "Firestarter" will be released in multiple editions, including a limited anime version. The CD includes the B-side "The Animals" and a remix.

MAN WITH A MISSION will support the release with a four-date "Firestarter Tour" in Tokyo and Osaka this December. The band is also scheduled to perform at several domestic festivals through November.
