Anime 'Kakunaru Ueha' Opening Theme by shallm

The upcoming TV anime 'Kakunaru Ueha' (描くなるうえは) has announced its opening theme song. The track 'Kimi Iro Hirari' will be performed by the artist shallm.

The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2027. The song was first revealed as a surprise during shallm's 'ANTI AFTER SCHOOL' EP tour.

Shallm is a band project led by vocalist and songwriter lia. The group made its major debut in 2023 and has since provided theme songs for several anime and drama series.

The anime is based on the manga by Takahatake Yumi (story) and Kamayuni (art), serialized in Young Animal. The story follows a boy who dreams of being a manga artist but is told his romance stories lack realism. He enters into a 'secret, simulated relationship' with a classmate to gain experience.

The anime will be directed by Ishikawa Shunsuke, with series composition by Akao Deko. Animation production is handled by ROLL2.
