The idol group =LOVE, produced by Rino Sashihara, has set a new personal record. Their 21st single, "Koi, Hajimemashita.," sold 515,000 copies in its first week of release.

The single debuted at number one on the Oricon weekly singles chart dated September 7. It also topped the Billboard Japan Top Singles Sales chart. This is their third consecutive and eighth overall Oricon number-one single.

Total shipments for the single have exceeded 600,000 units. The group has now placed in the Oricon weekly singles top 10 for 21 consecutive releases, starting with their 2017 debut.

The title track is a summer love song. It was first performed on the TBS music program "CDTV Live! Live!" in August. The song reached number eight on Apple Music's Japan Top 100 chart. Three other =LOVE songs also charted in the top 100.

=LOVE will hold their 9th Anniversary Premium Concert at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO on October 15 and 16, 2026. They are scheduled to perform at Tokyo Dome on January 19 and 20, 2027.
