The Top 40 J-POP songs - Week 36 of 2024 – OnlyHit Japan Charts

This week's top 40 chart showcases some notable shifts. At the top, "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" by Creepy Nuts maintains its stronghold at number one for the ninth consecutive week, followed closely by OneRepublic's "Nobody - from Kaiju No. 8." King Gnu's "SPECIALZ" and BABYMETAL's collaboration with Electric Callboy on "RATATATA" each experienced slight drops, landing at third and fourth, respectively, as did XG's "WOKE UP" now at fifth.
Moving downwards, YOASOBI's "アイドル" dropped three places to the ninth spot. However, several tracks managed to buck this trend. GEMN's "ファタール - Fatal" climbed to seventh, and XG's "SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT" made an impressive leap to eighth, highlighting the week's dynamic shifts among core contenders.

Both Kenshi Yonezu and Ryokuoushoku Shakai saw upward mobility with "KICK BACK" and "花になって - Be a flower," respectively, albeit modestly. Meanwhile, Yuuri's "カーテンコール" surged from eighteenth to fourteenth, marking this week's most significant upward movement within the top 20, reflecting its growing resonance with listeners.

Further down the chart, new entry "ひゅるりらぱっぱ" by tuki. made its debut at thirty-sixth position, capturing attention with its fresh arrival. Meanwhile, Ado's "RuLe" and Mrs. GREEN APPLE's "ライラック" faced tough competition, slipping several spots but remaining within the top 40. As these tracks vie for listener favor, eyes remain on how they will perform in the coming weeks.
