The Top 40 Pop songs - Week 06 of 2026 – Only Hits Charts

This week's chart sees a major new champion. Harry Styles's Aperture jumps five places from number six to land at number one, claiming the top spot. Last week's leader, Bruno Mars's I Just Might, experiences the week's most notable drop, falling eleven places to number twelve. The top five remains largely stable, with positions two through four holding steady, though sombr's 12 to 12 climbs three spots to round it out at number five.
Movement is strong throughout the upper chart. RAYE's WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! moves up a spot to number six, while Holly Humberstone's To Love Somebody is the highest new entry at number seven. The lower half of the Top 10 also sees upward movement, with each track from positions eight through eleven climbing one place. Just outside, KATSEYE's Gabriela makes a spectacular 21-place leap to land at number thirteen.

This week introduces several other new and returning tracks. Joji's Last of a Dying Breed debuts at number fifteen, while Louis Tomlinson (Imposter at 23), Dove Cameron (30), Melanie Martinez (33), and Loreen (35) also enter the chart for the first time. Notable re-entries include Tame Impala's Dracula at number thirty-four and The Kid LAROI's A PERFECT WORLD at thirty-seven.

Significant climbs are not limited to the top. Olivia Dean's A Couple Minutes rises ten places to number sixteen, Madison Beer's bittersweet jumps ten to twenty-one, and Tate McRae's NOBODY'S GIRL moves up four spots to twenty-four. Conversely, tracks like Madison Beer's bad enough (down 13 to 18) and Charli xcx's Wall of Sound (down 18 to 32) saw substantial declines this week.
