Synxro Project Releases Fourth Fictional Anime OP 'Lala to Watashi no Re 1999'

The opening theme "Mugendai∞Imagination" (Infinite Imagination) for the project's latest story, "Lala to Watashi no Re 1999," premiered on YouTube today.

The fourth installment features a story concept by O Kana Damo, music by picco, vocals by Kotoha, and animation direction by Akao.

The story follows Sato Sora, a girl who gave up on creating manga after being ridiculed. She discovers a notebook titled "Dream Lighthouse Keeper" in her school library and meets a girl named Lala in her dreams. After a falling out with Lala, strange events tied to a doomsday novel called "Re1999" begin occurring in the real world. Sora must confront her creativity again with a transfer student, Hoshizaki Chisato, to prevent the world's collapse.

The Synxro Project has previously released three other works: "Ishoku Soshoku Ju" (concept by Ken Sogen), "Heroic Mistake" (concept by Nejimaya Ezu), and "Escape with Wings" (concept by Nakano Kaoru).

The project's first three opening videos are available on the official YouTube channel. More information is on the official website.
