The Top 40 J-POP songs - Week 07 of 2025 – OnlyHit Japan Charts

This week on our Top 40 chart, "オトノケ - Otonoke - Opening Theme to DAN DA DAN" by Creepy Nuts maintains its hold at the top spot for nine consecutive weeks, showcasing its consistent popularity. Meanwhile, their other track "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" climbed to number two from the third position, proving Creepy Nuts' dominance on the charts. "Take Me to the Beach (feat. Ado)" by Imagine Dragons and Ado slipped to the third spot, swapping places with "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born." This shift illustrates the dynamic nature of chart movements, even among the top contenders.
In notable upward movements, "ファタール - Fatal" by GEMN, 中島健人, and Tatsuya Kitani advanced from position seven to five, reaching a new peak. "NIGHT DANCER" by imase made a strong leap from tenth to sixth, and "青のすみか" by Tatsuya Kitani climbed from nine to seven, reflecting their growing appeal. Towards the bottom of the top ten, "百花繚乱" by Lilas Ikuta surged from 15 to 10, marking its entry into the top tier and indicating a significant boost in popularity.

The mid-tier section saw some impressive climbs, with Vaundy making notable moves with "走れSAKAMOTO - RUN SAKAMOTO RUN - Opening theme to SAKAMOTO DAYS," jumping from 24 to 17, and Awich's "Frontiers" rising from 22 to 18. Kenshi Yonezu's "BOW AND ARROW" made an impressive ascension from 20 to 15, positioning itself well among the competition. Newcomer "CASANOVA POSSE" by ALI debuted at number 32, demonstrating fresh interest and potential staying power on the chart.

Among entrants, Mrs. GREEN APPLE's new entry "??ーリン" debuted at the 38th spot, adding fresh variety to the list. Meanwhile, at the chart's lower end, "Same Blue" by OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM dramatically ascended from 39 to 31, marking a considerable improvement. However, "風神" by Vaundy slid notably from 30 to 36, showcasing the ever-fluctuating nature of music trends and audience preferences.
